This interactive presentation will get you thinking about your own community and what you can do it make it better. Lindsay Studders is a WSU MADR student focusing on urban community development. She will be joined by special guest Kristine Miranne Ph.D., a WSU professor in the School of Social Work. Kris has had many roles in Detroit, including the Skillman Center for Children, Southwest Detroit Development Collaboration, and Doing Development Differently in Detroit. Lindsay chose her as a guest speaker because of her unequivocal knowledge of urban community engagement, social policy, and economic development strategies.
